Since I took part in my first writing course 20 years ago with Nuala Ní Dhomhnaill, I have continued to work at the craft of writing through practice and embracing learning opportunities. I have been fortunate to attend workshops, seminars and classes with great practitioners of the craft.​
Over twenty of my stories have won awards or been published by journals such as The Stinging Fly, Granta online, The Dublin Review, Faber anthologies. My novel The Deadwood Encore was published by Harper Collins in 2022. ​Last year I completed a Training Development and Delivery Certificate (Special Purpose Award) to ensure I had the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver a quality learning experience to creative writing students.

May 2022 A huge thank you to everyone for the wonderful welcome you've given The Deadwood Encore. We had a Dublin launch and a Carlow launch and there were tears and hugs a-plenty at both.
